Capricorn Food and Wine Festival

Celebrating it’s 11th year in 2023, the Capricorn Food and Wine Festival has grown to become North Queensland’s largest Food and Wine Festival, and a signature event on the region’s calendar.

The region’s flagship food and wine event has played a significant role in showcasing the Rockhampton Region, it’s burgeoning hospitality, food and wine capabilities whilst positioning the region as an exciting and vibrant destination for visitors.

The Festival hosts numerous both in the Festival grounds and venues around the region including degustations, masterclasses, cocktail parties, cooking demonstrations and more. And the 2 day Festival Event on the Riverbank showcases live music and offers tastings from food vendors, winemakers, craft brewers, cocktail extraordinaires and more.

Rockhampton Oktoberfest

You better Beer-lieve it ! Get ready to experience Rockhampton’s largest Bavaraian celebration of Beer!

Dust off your lederhosen & dirndls and get ready to raise your glasses to good times, good mates & good beer at OKTOBERFEST presented by Capricorn Food and Wine Festival. The Rockhampton Riverside Precinct is set to be transformed into a celebration of Bavarian food, beer and entertainment.

Taste your way across a large selection of imported German beer, cider, wine and a range German inspired foods. There’ll be a competition for best dressed and authentic Bavarian Oom-pah music to entertain you into the evening – prost!

Enjoy fantastic local craft beers as well as a swag of new breweries! The beers don’t stop flowing there, We also have the Dan Murphy’s Odd Beer Bar with a swag of other drops to challenge your taste buds.
