Big Beer Festival 2021

Your 2021 summer is about to get serious when Capricorn Food and Wine Festival presents the second annual Big Beer Festival!

Join us at the Rockhampton Riverbank for a celebration of all things Beer! On the frothy lineup there’ll be 65 locally brewed and craft beers to sample, food stalls, live music and games to keep you entertained into the afternoon.

Local Brewers Headricks Brewing and Monkey Pig Brewing will be bringing their range of specialty beers to the lineup. From further south, there’ll be Your Mates Brewing, who was voted the best new brewery in QLD in 2019, and Blackflag Brewing, with more to be announced soon.

But it’s not just about Beer! Festival-goers wanting to soak up the ambience of the Riverbank can sip their way through a range of alcoholic ginger beers, ciders and wines, as well as a range of tasty delights from local food vendors. Local musicians Maddi & The Hoopers, Zac Cross Band and bRad & The Pirates will be rocking the mainstage from 3pm to late in the evening.

And introducing for the first time ever, the Slippery Sailor Co. Big Beer Cup Cup. Teams of four will compete and face a gruelling set of beer-related challenges, with the victorious group being crowned the FIRST Big Beer Cup Cup champions, and score an awesome Slippery Sailor Co. prize pack.
