Festival Guide

Welcome to the 2017 Capricorn Food & Wine Festival. Below you will find all the information you need as your guide to this years festival. Have fun and enjoy yourself!

Location

This years festival is happening on the newly refurbished part of Quay Street between the bridge and Denham Street on the river bank of the historic Fitzroy River. See Location Map

Cashless Festival

This year is a cashless festival. Exhibitors will be set up with a system called SQUARE that uses your chip card (insert or tap) for all festival purchases. Square currently works with Australian-issued and most internationally issued credit and debit cards with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express logo only. Unfortunately EFTPOS cards are not currently supported with Square.

When you arrive to the festival, tap your card to pay your entry. Your first purchase will ask if you would like to receive receipts via email or text messages. You have the option to supply either a mobile number or email address. Your details are encrypted and NOT available to the stall holders or event organisers – completely secure. You will be texted/emailed a tax receipt for every purchase if you require. It will show the stall holder location and items purchased.
